The chemical industry needs a diverse set of valves in terms of type and material to function. Powell was the first tier one valve manufacturer to cast valves in exotic and high alloys. We provide a variety of materials, including stainless steel, hastelloy, monel, titanium, and more in nearly all valves we offer. In addition to material, we can design our valves in cryogenic or bellow seal fashion to suit all customer requirements.

The chemical industry, along with many other industries, is beginning to focus more on fugitive emissions. Powell is proud to say that in providing valves for the chemical industy, we are keeping up with the demand by transitioning our valves to house API 624 packing, reducing leak to 100 ppm.
